Audrey used fabrics from Tricia’s Sunday Bloomers collection to make these precious quilts!

Tricia,

The Sunday Bloomers fabric was the perfect solution to a challenging problem. My daughter wanted four bed quilts, alike but different, for her two daughters and two step-daughters who shared one large room.

How to make them alike but different? When I saw the Sunday Bloomers, it was an obvious solution. With all the gorgeous colors in the line, each girl got a different color quilt with the flower blocks, pattern, and border duplicated in each.

As an added bonus, each girl got her favorite color! I made a pink, a blue, a purple, and a green. To make the quilt, I used the flower block and a four-patch sized to match the flower block.

I ran short of the border fabric and solved the problem by adding a flower block in each corner, which was perfect. In addition to the four quilts, each girl got a matching pillow sham.

With the four quilts and shams on the beds, the room was cheerful and coordinated. My granddaughters, ages 8, 7, 6, and 4 are thrilled with their new quilts.
