Fast, Easy, & Fun!

Workshop - Strippin' with Tricia

In consideration of all class participants, no children are allowed and please refrain from wearing perfumes.

Please be sure you have a good working knowledge of your sewing machine.

Important Note:

Prior to event, each participant must purchase their own pattern.
Prepay shop or guild $9 for the pattern.
You will receive the pattern at the end of the class.

You will not be pre-cutting your fabric for this workshop.

You will need your sewing machine, 1/4" seam guide, thread to match your fabric, scissors, pins, etc.
Small cutting mat, rotary cutter, iron and a pressing surface (2-4 can share mat, cutter, iron and pressing surface).
8½" x 24" ruler is SO perfect for this project - if you don't already have one , I'd buy one before the class, it's one of my favorite sizes!
Each quilter must prepay $10 for their own Strips Ahoy pattern (received at workshop).

Fabric Requirements:

2 Moda Jelly Rolls from the same fabric collection...or you may use (84-90) 2½" x wof coordinating strips

The quilt I am bringing is a bright, happy quilt made using 2 Moda Jelly Rolls.
But, this quilt is perfect for ANY fabric collection at all!  Asian, Kaffe Fasset, Christmas, Halloween, Boy, Girl, Masculine, etc.

DO NOT UNROLL your jelly rolls before class!

(Optional fabric needed but not required for workshop)

2/3 yard for binding
5 1/4 yards for backing

Just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful class and pattern.  I really enjoyed the class and can't wait to finish my quilt!

I want to tell you I have been on 6 quilting cruises and this one was my favorite!  Never have we had someone to do our ironing or cutting for us!  I appreciated that.  Thanks for the help and the good time.

~ Carol H.

Tricia was patient and explained everything plainly and re-explained if we didn't get it.  I appreciated the cutting and ironing - it helped me to move my project along and see a finished project sooner.  I truly enjoyed the class.

~ Bea E.

Thanks for all of you making this memorable.  I love the quilt.  Loved that you helped with the ironing.  Thanks for all your work.

~ Pat H.

I really enjoyed meeting Tricia.  I have loved all of her Turning Twenty® books.  I loved the class and can not wait to finish my quilt.  Tricia is a great teacher and such a sweet and patient person.  I am so glad I got to meet her.
